Canada to Host Global Offshore Safety Leaders at the 2025 International Regulators’ Forum

Canada will host leaders in offshore energy safety from around the world on October 9-10, 2025 at the International Regulators’ Forum (IRF) Offshore Safety Conference.

Themed “Offshore Safety Through Innovation,” the conference will bring innovators, subject matter experts, regulators and policy makers to the St. John’s Convention Centre to explore leading-edge solutions for advancing safety in the offshore energy sector.

Hosted in one of the most historic and dynamic cities in North America and alongside one of the world’s most challenging offshore environments, this event will draw attendees from across the energy and regulatory sectors in Canada and around the world. This will only be the second time the event has taken place in Canada and the first to be held on the East Coast.

Key Session Themes Include: Using AI in Risk Management and Operations; Regulatory Sandboxes: Collaboration vs. Capture; Innovation in Training; Workforce Engagement; Managing Aging Facilities; Regulator Perspectives on Emerging Technologies.
