The Canada–Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Energy Regulator (C-NLOER) is inviting members of the public to register for upcoming information sessions as part of the public review of the Bay du Nord Development Application.
Registration is now open for virtual and in-person sessions. The sessions will provide an opportunity for participants to learn more about the proposed project, ask questions, and share their views as part of the public review process.
The public review period will run from June 22 to August 20, 2026 and is designed to gather input from the public on key elements of the Development Application, including the Development Plan, Benefits Plan, Safety Analysis, and Socio-Economic Impacts. This input will help inform the Regulator’s assessment and recommendations. During this time, participants may provide input through virtual and in-person information sessions, as well as written submissions.
Registration is now available through the C-NLOER website for the following sessions:
Virtual Sessions
In-Person Sessions
An independent, third-party public engagement facilitator will lead all information sessions and gather input from participants.
